PHOTOGRAPHY CLASS
Let your middle schoolers explore their natural curiosity, learn new ways to express themselves, develop lifelong skills, and HAVE FUN as they view the world through a lens. Fridays 3:15 – 4:15. $130
Hands-on and fun-filled, this course could plant the seeds of a lifelong interest or even a budding career.
This 8-week after school photography course is geared to help students learn more about how they take in the world around them. Nurturing their curiosity and helping them explore their creativity, each dynamic weekly adventure will open their eyes to the details they find by looking over, under, around and through. Weekly adventures will have them seeing familiar places differently, as we may explore the neighborhood around St. Matthias. Through practice, they’ll learn how to take better photos with any camera they use.

No Experience Necessary
Your child will learn a new visual vocabulary from day one.
By the end of the first class, and with a simple camera phone, students will already gain ideas of how to view the world differently. They’ll start to build the confidence and the skills needed to take better photographs and to express themselves at a new level. With a maximum of 15 students per class, each student will benefit from personalized instruction and feedback.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Chicago-based professional photographer and teaching artist Christina Noël travels the world for her work and loves to share her passion for connection and new perspectives with budding photographers of all ages.
With more than two decades of experience shooting professionally and having built an eco-conscious clothing label based on her photography, Christina is gifted with creativity and a passion for helping others see from new perspectives. She connects effortlessly with students of all ages, helping them build their confidence and develop their own style as they build visual communication skills that will support them throughout life.
